Manassas Park police say Mamta Kafle Bhatt was last seen on July 31 and has not had any contact with her family since then.
The 28-year-old woman is believed to be missing under "involuntary" circumstances, police said.
A Facebook group has been launched in an effort to help find Bhatt.
